That bus stop is a pig to brake for.......

I'll second that.  I find that getting the right brake pressure almost impossible some nights.  It's either too little and go straight on,  !*&#£! or too much and lock up and still go straight on.

Nick, think you should follow Bob Newhart's advice - distract them and leave them at the bus stop, saves all the problems of slowing etc

Previous race results/timings, for those who would like a benchmark:

http://edam.accelerator.org/resultparser/?f=showres&rid=75

Those were without Laurie's track amendments to the bus stop though...I suspect I'm going to fall off track trying to look for that signpost  Grin

Thanks for that, you've now depressed me as I'm about 9 secs off the pace.

Are you using longest gearing? ... the long ratio really struggles to accelerate I find, far outweighing any time lost at max revs while using the middle ratio, and I find it easier through the corners at middle ratio.
You should be flat out through Eau Rouge, no lifting....just hanging on for dear life trying to stay between the white lines.

If you're already doing that... then It's something else losing you time  Hammer
Make sure your pedals are giving you full throttle and that your brake pedal isn't catching.

I'm using the longest gearing and trying to go flat through Eau Rouge I understeer into the left hand wall.

I guess I also fullfill VB's comment and just suck.

Forget sucking for a moment. Sucking is not an option!

Use the middle gearing ratio, use a lot of left hand side kerb at the bottom of Eau Rouge and get yourself pointed away from the wall on exit, to let you go flat out without killing yourself... and see how far off the pace you are then.
