Aye sbg, they're pretty fun... next time though we need to limit the classes/hp that we use, there's just to much performance difference with every car available.
e.g. SR4 252bhp creams the SR3 252bhp by at least half a second at Anderstorp (probably more, I only did 3 laps in SR4 to test...comparing with lots of laps in the SR3, the weight difference/did they change the brakes as well??.... all lead to a massive SR4 advantage).
There, I've got a pre-emptive excuse in for tomorrow night when I get beaten by Gary in his low weight, lower penalty weight SR4

Hehe, I'd like to add something regarding weight penalties:
I did a bit of testing with the ballast tool a while back, results were interesting: 30-40kg on an SR3 costs about 2 seconds a lap at Anderstorp before setup adjustments (i.e. like for like comparison using same setup). After adjustments for weight, the time penalty comes down closer to 1 second.

However, there is a problem as I see it, and the problem is that damage costs you big time in a Radical especially carrying extra ballast. So if I get punted or hit the back of someone at the start, for example, the effects of aero damage is not only much more hard to predict (I have no idea how fast I can take the next corner until I get there), but depending on how severe it is, it could cost you twice as much time as adding the weight in the first place.
So what am I saying? Well, unfortunately, adding weight to Radicals (and I suspect any aero dependant car) means that you are even more in the hands of luck and what other drivers do around you than you are in the hands of your own skill as a driver.
I think ballast works well in GT, TC and other factory car series because these series start with a heavier production car in the first place and teams strip them down, adding titanium and carbon parts. If you look at it like that then adding ballast to these cars isn’t really adding weight, it’s actually reducing the amount of weight that’s been taken off.
With proto and formula cars you have a situation where the design of the car is already minimal, everything is engineered for light weight, and balance is achieved using aero and high downforce.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, just something to think about; the upshot of adding weight to these cars can, under certain circumstances, actually increase the expected penalty making 30kg more like 60kg.
